Hôtel Le Domaine de l'Astragale, Saint-Tropez

"Property is 1.5 km from town center - you can walk if you chose to (however there are small sections without walkway). But they have a shuttle that takes you to downtown. Hotel was very clean, the welcome was amazing, the room was very comfortable and breakfast included was adequate. They had free water, free snacks and the best part is the shuttle drivers - they are all young people who work there during the season traveling from different parts of Europe - amazing to have everyone speak fairly good English. The conceirge also booked all the beach clubs - it is impossible to get bookings at beach clubs unless you go through your hotel. They communicate with you on WhatsApp. Only reason I gave 4 stars was the cost was a bit high for the comforts and time of the year - we stayed in the last week before the hotel hibernates (shuts down) for 6 months - so it is not in season and the cost was still very high - I cannot imagine how expensive it will be during on-season."

"Excellent experience! Lily of the Valley is an absolutely beautiful property! The beach club is stunning, with the friendliest staff, wonderful food, and fantastic swimming. It’s the perfect place to spend a relaxing day by the water. The rooms are immaculate, and the entire property is beautifully maintained and cared for. The restaurants are equally impressive, offering spectacular views, exceptional service, and delicious food. Every detail feels thoughtfully taken care of, and the staff truly makes the experience special. We had such a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return!"

"Location is fantastic, just minutes drive into St Tropez town. The property itself is tidy and cozy, well landscaped giving it a homey feel. The staff are helpful, particularly the lady at the front desk (forgot her name!) who recommended and arranged evening bookings for us."
