Maryhill Loops Road was completed in 1913 and was the result of Sam Hill's advocacy for modern roads being built in the Northwest. The road is 10 miles long, has 25 curves (8 of them hairpin), an elevation gain of 850 ft. and a 5% grade. Pedestrians and bikers can use the road most days 7 am to 5 pm. Overall it was a good experience. In typical fashion of any type of hotel and motel, the neighbors next and around us were the kitchen at suite was nice however because the separate portion of the property and there was no one above or below us.
