"So close to downtown!!! We did park our rental 2-3 blocks away for cheaper parking but the apt itself was wonderful…..our 2 bedroom/1 bath had washer and dryer and the breakfast basket each day was lovely with fruit, meat/cheese and veggies. The fresh baked bread delivered each day was a treat as well! Highly recommended staying here!"

"The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were clean. Occasionally, the shower gel, toilet paper, coffee cups, milk for coffee were out of stock and there was no one around. However, when the property was messaged, most things were taken care of. The staff was helpful when they were there."

"The Alda Hotel was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and someone came by to clean up every day. The hotel breakfast was outstanding- a great way to get ready for a day of adventure!! And the gym and sauna were very nice. We found street parking within a block of the hotel every night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Reykjavik!!"

"Great location for shops, restaurants, tour pickups. Everything was easily walking distance from the hotel. Room was adequate but our view was a fire escape and located over garden area used on weekends for late night revealers."

"The beds were comfortable and the room was very cleaned. Easy to get a taxi and only a few minutes ride to the church and city center. Room was on the smaller side. The drains in the bathroom took a long time to drain. Notified the front desk and they told us that the drains always worked very slow. We flooded the hallway too! We would stay there again."

"Lovely stay at the KEX Hotel/Hostel! We had 3 people in one of the private rooms/baths, and had a spectacular view of the waterfront, with easy walking distance to the town center for meals and shopping. The hotel/hostel was nicely maintained, with a nicely lit yet still cozy large lobby with coffee and tea available for people to relax, work, or just hang out. Nice to be able to spin a load of laundry and chatting with people from all over the world. And don't leave without having the amazing breakfast! Wow! Fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and assortment of toasts and cereals. Just perfect to fuel up for the day's adventure. Highly recommend!!!"
