"The room was clean but it didn't "look" clean because of how much the room was in cosmetic disrepair. I appreciated the size of the room (bedroom separate from living space), large fridge, strong water pressure in the shower. I did not like the fact that there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom (you can see thumbtacks where other guests had already hung up their own, just as we did). Also, there was no housekeeping service during our 3 night stay, so the coffee supplies we used on day...

"The staff was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of the property. My room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and a wonderful bed, with a variety of pillows. The greenbelt and a path to the river made walking my dog very enjoyable."
"This place was horrible I paid over $300 for a room with a view of the roof (porte coach) that was spaced about 2' from my window and so full of pigeons (who make a lot of noise when they are 3' from your head as you sleep). And when you turn on the window unit for A/C or heat, you get a nice wiff if pigeon poo.
When I asked the front desk about it they said they won't remove them because they have babies now (pigeons breed 6 times a year).
The bed was so bad when I slept my feet were above...
