Weekend getaway

Our group loved the home and property. The entire property is massive with plenty of fun things to do and a fully fenced yard which allowed our dogs to be off leash and enjoy the space too!

Gorgeous property

We had a incredible time on this property we had 4 adults 2 toddlers and 2 dogs and everyone had a blast. The property had everything we needed and was just perfect for a incredibly relaxing weekend for our 2 little families.

Great cabin!!

Such a cozy and fun cabin! The location was perfect and the property was so pretty. We really enjoyed the hot tub and games provided. Would stay here again!!

Just what we needed

We were only there for 3 days and 2 nights but every time we turned around we found a new place to enjoy. Our youngest were in the music studio for hours on end. Cornhole and hot tub were well used. This place was just as advertised maybe more so!

Dog paradise

Great property completely fenced in. Lots of nooks and crannies for everyone to find their relaxing spot. Dogs loved running and exploring.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and has a nice hot tub and fire pit. For a relatively small house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size. I would stay here again for a weekend getaway not far from Seattle.

Love this property!

This is our second stay at the Wallace River Retreat and we will be making it a recurring family tradition. Everything you could need is provided and the location is beautiful and so much fun for kids and dog to run around!

Stunning, Private, Peaceful

My husband, mother-in-law, and I (along with our dogs) recently enjoyed a weekend stay at this gorgeous property. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the grounds looked magical. We’re already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future!

Riverside oasis

This riverside oasis is the best place to be. We watched humming birds, a beautiful raven, played board games, enjoyed the Gary Larson books, dipped our toes in the river and began our mornings walking the property. It is so lovely, relaxing, expertly well appointed and has something everyone can enjoy. This place is a treasure.

Amazing property

We stayed at Wallace River Retreat for 3 days and it was amazing! So peaceful and relaxing, everything was clean and well stocked. By far the most unique and beautiful property I've been to. We plan on returning again soon.

Amazing surrounding.

We had a very good time at the house and thoroughly enjoyed the river that is just steps away. Our dogs loved the yard and the access to water. The house is clean, well-kept, and the AC was definitely a plus during a hot summer stay!

Best place to stay for a family

Wonderful inside and outside. Very scenic, river adjacent was beautiful. Lots of activities were provided (lawn games, a music "jam" room [as we dubbed it], DVDs for the kids). House didnt' feel to "old", kitchen and bathrooms appeared updated and more modern.

Great escape

Great property and quality details throughout. Neighbors are a bit closer than expected, but a very tranquil getaway with with fantastic amenities. Our young boys loved all the outdoor space and music room!

Relaxing Retreat

Our stay at the Wallace River Retreat was amazing. It was our first trip away during this pandemic and it was just perfect. We went hiking on a nearby trail, rocked out with the instruments, hung out in the hot tub and played board games. The river was gorgeous and the owners thought of everything in the cozy house. It was just the getaway that we needed.

Beautiful property

Overall the property is incredible, there is a lot of special places to discover as you walk around the trails. However, if you were hoping to enjoy a view or even a glimpse of the river from the house, you will be just as disappointed as I was. We did enjoy the hot tub (again no view of river) and loved all the details around the property, it is very thought out.

We had a lot of fun. Much to do on the property and really no reason to leave.

It was my first rental experience and it did meet my expectations. Lots of flowers lots of places to sit and enjoy nature and the music room was a lot of fun too. Made s'mores by the campfire. Fun experience

Perfect Restful Getaway

Loved this place! Made some great meals in the well-equipped kitchen and BBQ, and totally enjoyed the "cabin-chic" vibe, with everything so new and super clean. Very peaceful and cozy, and the three dogs had a great time getting plenty of sniffs while exploring and playing tag all over the fully fenced property. It was a bit too drizzly (and snowy!) to do any time at the firepit, so instead, we tried our hand at being rock stars in "The Studio" with the electric guitars, keyboard, and drums. I think we'll be back!

This property is beautiful and very well maintained. The cabin is comfy and has a ton of charm. Lots of little special details. The grounds are amazing with lots of adorable and beautiful different spots to explore and enjoy. Would absolutely recommend this property. They provided lots of indoor and outdoor games with fishing poles and everything. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, they have a beautifully equipped music studio and allow access!!! Amazing property.

Dreamy property

My family of 5 and 1 friend had a great time at Wallace River Retreat. We went into Sultan one day, but there was plenty to keep us busy right there on the property. The lovely lawn was an unexpected surprise. We were able to spread out and enjoy the River, watch hummingbirds, eat meals outdoors, and lots more. Incredibly well equipped vacation rental. We kept remarking how they had thought of everything. We hope to return.

Classy, delightfully decorated, clean and fun!

What a treat to find such a clean, sophisticated, relaxing getaway along a river! Just a short, easy drive from Seattle too. Everything is top notch and will please anyone looking for a relaxing change of pace. Sit by the river and leave city life behind for a bit. This place is definitely very special in all good ways. Both inside and outside have fun, tasteful decorations with whimsical surprises and activities for all ages and weather. Very clean with comfortable beds, bedding and furniture. Wonderful outdoor firepit and hot tub. We will definitely return!

River, hot tub, room to roam and owls!

We loved our stay here! Our 2 dogs had a blast playing in the huge yard, and we enjoyed exploring all the nooks and crannies of the large fenced property. Places to sit next to the river, around the fire pit or on the porch to listen to the birds made it so relaxing. We were visited by two barred owls! The separate music room is a big plus, giving an opportunity to try out different instruments without disturbing others. The hot tub was pristine and private, great for soaking after a hike. And the cabin kitchen was better equipped than ours at home. Great internet service allowed us to keep in touch with work when we had to. We plan to come back.
