"Wataya = WOW! From the second we arrive... I'm so happy Aaron chose this place.
The staff is a family that has owned and operated this wonderful house for 7 generations!
We chill in the onsen chatting loudly as we are the only guests today, return to the room to relax looking at the garden during twilight.
Dinner is served! We did a poor job at informing them of my friend's restricted diet... The proprieter is so generous! She grabs a frozen pizza from her home to feed my buddy...

"Amazing location for Shirakawa Go but away from the crowds up in the mountains the staff are great, food amazing, rooms basic but spotless. The onsen are great and the free guided walk was perfect.
The shuttle bus to Shirakawa Go is brilliant, we were able to choose our drop off and pick up times."

"This was one of the most incredible experiences we had in Japan. The staff and service level are extraordinary. The 8 or 10 course meals at dinner and breakfast were an unbelievable experience. We traveled with young kids with varying degrees of adventurous eating and the staff was able to prepare dishes that were more western (mini sausages, fries, sunny side eggs). We took a large family suite with a private outdoor hot springs bath and it was gorgeous. The shuttle to the train station is very...

"Beautiful view of the river, cherry blossoms, and a quiet neighborhood. A perfect way to truly enjoy the stunning beauty of Kanazawa. The staff were gracious, kind, and patient. They were accommodating and even called a taxi for us when we were leaving. "

"Attentive staff, beautiful hotel and room! Large room with amenities inside which was a pleasant change up as our other hotels required grabbing amenities from the lobby.
Location was great, right near major shopping and markets"
"Great location -across the road fromthe market. Soki was a delight with attentive staff & beautiful public baths to relax in after your 25k daily steps."
"Had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Centric Kanazawa. The hotel felt modern, clean, and comfortable, but still connected to the charm of Kanazawa. The location was very convenient, especially being close to the station, which made traveling with family much easier.
The staff were professional, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were well designed, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a very positive experience and one of the hotels that made our time in Kanazawa even better.
I would definitely recommend Hyatt Centric Kanazawa for anyone visiting the city, especially families or travelers who want comfort, convenience, and great service."
"The room was very clean and breakfast was okay, though it didn’t have many vegetarian items. However, the shampoo/ conditioner combo made my hair very frizzy and unmanageable. The bed was very narrow and seemed smaller than a normal twin. The worst part was the laundry facilities. They were nearly always in use, which was odd for such a small hotel on a weekday. I had to wait half a day and stand in line for 40 minutes just to do laundry. People would leave their laundry in the machine for 30+ minutes after it finished and the staff didn’t do anything about it although they could see there was a line of people waiting for the machines."
