"Right in the heart of the historic district this is ideally situated, surprisingly quiet considering it's location. Not for the faint hearted as there are 59 steps to get there. Lovely roof terrace and breakfast each morning with wonderful filled croissants. We missed check in time due to flight delays but Marco made sure we had all the necessary information via WhatsApp and answered promptly. "Beauty room with view of the city and ocean. Can’t say enough about the staff. I booked twice because I never got a confirmation from Expedia so I tried again, then ended up with 2 reservations. The young man at the reception tried hard to help me fix the problem, while I was chatting with Expedia. He was able to to give me the booking number of the first attempt. The property is in the mountains in Palermo, a bit far from the center, but great for relaxing. The restaurant is very good with many dining options. Highly recommended."

"Thanks to Expedia we had great deal for a 2 night stay in the villas away from the main hotel on the seafront overlooking the beautiful bay. Unfortunately the villa my sister was allocated was poky and completely in the shade under a big tree but the friendly helpful Reception staff were able to relocate her 1 villa away from mine. However, we were very disappointed with Breakfast facilities. Given the excellent position of the hotel, we would have expected to have an option to eat outside or at least with a good view but there were no windows. When we arrived for breakfast at 8am, most of the food had been taken by the big coach parties. Almost no fresh fruit and even the tinned fruit was not replaced. The fruit juice was heavily watered down & revolting. It was almost impossible to find spoons & teaspoons. The staff were very unhelpful & some of them quite rude. However, the scrambled eggs were very good & freshly replaced. You do need a taxi (don’t use Rosario he may be friendly but totally ripped us off in his battered old van!) or car to get to the little port where the cafes & restaurants are."

"The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were generally helpful and the breakfast options were adequate. There was plenty of places to sit, although we did visit in early October and I can imagine it getting very busy. The hotel is situated at the end of a busy road with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The main sites are at the other end of road, but it’s just a 20-30 minutes’ walk to reach them. Overall, I found the hotel a good place to base ourselves to explore Palermo."

"Upon entering the hotel I was suprised how modern it was. My room was not ready but the receptionist immediately supplied me with coffee and pastry. She was very friendly and informative. My room was lovely and clean with a little balcony. I spent half an hour listening to a little girl and a middle aged woman happily chatting away together, from their respective balconies on opposite sides of the street!! Breakfast was fabulous, one of the best I have had! Oh, and the lift was glass!"
