It is typical Alaska. Beautiful and remote. There is a local IGA grocery store but the prices are a little steep. I would suggest a grocery run in Anchorage prior to the trip

The cabin was just as described. Comfortable, quiet, amazing views, clean, with all the amenities for us to enjoy our overnight stop and do a little laundry.
