"Interesting and pretty location on the river. Only complaint was loud people above us. But for the price it was lovely."

"Stayed in cabin #2 for the weekend and it was fantastic. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing and quiet getaway. Our small dog also had a great time. Great communication from host, very accommodating. You will certainly need 4wd to get up to the site, full size truck or SUV with a little ground clearance."

"Close to everything"

"Great stay, great host"

"This little apartment was perfect for a little weekend getaway! The air conditioning was great and the view was amazing! The house is old and so are most of its appliances, but I think it just adds character! There is a unit above you, which isn’t really a problem, but you can hear their footsteps. Other than that, it was fabulous!"

"Just need upgrade"

"Great stay!"

"There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box."

"This was a clean, comfortable, and affordable property in a beautiful part of West Virginia. The host was very responsive and helpful. Small amenities like coffee and some snacks were thoughtfully included and much appreciated after a long day hiking."

"Great location close to downtown Charleston, big yard, very pet friendly, plenty of parking and the hosts are some of the nicest people you will meet."

"We had a fantastic time. 2 adults 2 tweens 2 dogs. Dog and kid paradise. The house is older but it got everything you need. Full kitchen with a huge table, which we loved to hang out in. 2 comfortable bedrooms. My older child slept on an inflatable mattress in the living room, he loved having his own space. Great location. Host thought of every little thing you might need, cups, plates, silverware, trash bags, he even left a self care package including lotion, shampoo, shaving cream etc. the...

"Everything is great"

"The house layout was excellent and the pictures really do show the interior space correctly. The neighbors are close but it's a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub and the sauna was an unexpected bonus! If there is a downside to list it would be the grill. We were aware it was charcoal but it was a little small and difficult to cook on but we are also not charcoal masters."

"Absolutely beautiful home! The host has kept the property in pristine, like-new condition, and I found myself wanting to stay inside just to take in all the thoughtful details. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well organized. The home had the perfect amount of amenities, and the information provided about the surrounding area was incredibly helpful. If you’re considering staying here, I would absolutely recommend it! Overall, we had a wonderful trip, and the home itself was...

"This property is beautiful! Definitely large enough space for nine adults. The hot tub was a requirement for our group and did not disappoint. The only complaint would be having no cell service or strong enough wifi when needed. Thank you so much for having us!! - The Gueltig Crew"
