"We always enjoy our stay here. Imani, the front desk clerk, is such a delight to talk with. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. "

"Good location for accessing hiking, shopping & recreation nearby. Cabin is nicely removed from the road for a secluded feeling & the small stream & hills are bonuses. It gets very dark at night which allows for great stargazing. The cabin itself is homey & comfortable overall, although one night dipped into the low 20s & it seemed like the heating system struggled to keep up.
