"Arriving at the property was confusing because the sign says Linton Restaurant with rooms not the Linton Hotel. Check in was fine and the staff were very helpful, We had booked for 3 nights but the room (Room 5) did not even resemble any of the rooms shown on the property website. The room was very small you can’t even open the door fully without it hitting the bed. "The property is situated near North Berwick and has beautiful gardens. The building itself is a bit tired. Our room was disappointing for the grade of hotel. Coffee facilities were basis (one packet of two pieces of shortbread to share!). The cooked breakfast was lovely but the continental selection was very poor compared to similar hotels and given that one of the main selling points of the hotel is the Chez Roux restaurant.
