"Absolutely beautiful home and property. Very clean and well maintained. Has a great fire pit in the backyard and chairs to use by it, we didn’t get to using it due to a busy schedule, but it’s such a wonderful setup. Bedrooms, living room, and everything were very cozy and comfortable. The home is decorated very nicely and has all of the kitchen items you need (plates, mugs, coffee maker, etc.) I couldn’t ask for anything different, in fact, the whole stay was amazing. Such a relaxing getaway in nature! Also, super close to Silver Glen Springs, a must-do if in the area to snorkel and see fish and manatees! Thank you for this lovely stay. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a serene place to stay in the area."

"I rounded our rating up to 5 although our group gave this home a mix of 4 and 5 stars. We were ages 5 to 78, 10 members of extended family visiting FL from four states, and we stayed a week and had a wonderful time. We really appreciated the huge common area - we cooked together, gathered around the beautiful dining table, watched movies, and just kicked back. We sat on the deck to fish, star gaze, relax and talk. The kids had a blast in their room in the boathouse. The private BRs with en suite bathroooms were a pleasure after days all together. The river is beautiful, and there’s so much to see and do on the river and surrounding areas. (We can’t comment on the boat rental because we didn’t rent it.) Both the owner and the manager were very responsive and helpful when a few issues came up. It was a great vacation spot, and we highly recommend it!There were minor issues that didn’t really impact our experience. The house was well furnished and decorated though it needs updating and cosmetic repairs. We couldn’t find the downstairs BR initially. The alarm system went off erratically a few times. The kitchen needs scissors, and the tea kettle switch didn’t work well. There are tiny carpet nails sticking up between kitchen tile and carpet that are painful to walk on. We couldn’t find the switch to outdoor spotlights. A safety strip (white or yellow) is needed on the exterior rear deck. We’re sharing these as suggestions for the owner and manager."
