"I hate to mention the air-conditioning, but the air-conditioning was wonderful!!!! I was on the first floor room 120!!!! it was very hot in Genoa and when I came back to the room, the room was still cold. The staff was great, including the young woman in the breakfast bar. She was very attentive. I did give five stars but a little bit better on how to find the place once you walk into the building would be nice. Again, it didn’t take from the stars. Great location! Great shower! And great bed!….. and did I mention the air-conditioning?!"

"The room was clean and comfortable, and staying in a historic building gave the hotel some character. However, parking was quite inconvenient. It cost €35 per day, and the parking facility was located several hundred metres away from the hotel, which made arriving with luggage more difficult than expected. Overall, the room itself was fine, but the parking situation could definitely be improved."

"The front desk gentlemen were very friendly and helpful. He helped with my luggage and was very pleasant. Breakfast has many varieties. The staff there worked hard but I didn't fine them very friendly. The room is out of date and quite small but it was clean. The location is great, central and accessible to many places."

"Wonderful property. We stayed one night before our cruise. We got a suite since we were 4 people. Very clean and the bathroom was huge with a great shower. Very close to the train station. We just walked with our bags to the room. The breakfast was excellent. Walking to the MSC cruise terminal was not possible though. We had a couple of heavy bags and we gave up half way and got a taxi. Highly recommend this place but get a Taxi if you are headed to the cruise terminal with some heavy bags."
