"We stayed ‘out of season’. Possibly one of only 3 or 4 rooms occupied at the time. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. I can imagine an amazing place to be in busier times and in better weather. The drive to the property was a little difficult with very poor road access. "

"We didn’t ask if they were dog friendly before we booked and they totally weren’t, and had no flexibility around it so our poor big boy had to spend the night in the car by himself. Staff could’ve been a little friendlier, and to make matters worse, the restaurant was closed. The breakfast buffet was pretty good though with homemade omelettes. "

"Lovely grounds, enjoyable for afternoon beverages, nice view. Reception & breakfast staff were very pleasant. Evening restaurant was not as expected, service was sub par."
