GOTL Bike Weekend

The property was very clean and decorated with taste . Nice location, easy accessible. Only thing is the garage could use a cleaning ,it was nice to have since we had rain to keep the bikes dry . We were very satisfied with everything that was included in our stay !

Best place we have stayed in GOTL!

We had such an enjoyable stay for our yearly, weeklong GOTL vacation! The spacious accomodations, ice cold A/C, comfortable beds/furniture and pleasant decor made us feel instantly at home. The covered front porch, back deck and large yard made for lots of fun outdoor time for our family as well! We als appreciated the little details like the bag of ice in the freezer and the pile of wood by the fire pit so we didn't have to go get our own. The property owner was very nice and helpful and we could not have enjoyed our stay more! We will definitely be staying here again!

Good Location

The house was located less than a mile from all the action of the strip. It was such a nice walk. The house was very nice and pretty large with two living areas, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen. I really appreciated basic household items being available to us because I’ve stayed in places where you’re solely responsible for things like toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, etc so I was happy that was provided to us. The check-out instructions were very easy. The only thing I would change about the property is to add more mirrors in the house. There was only one mirror in the whole house and with 6 girls staying it was inefficient and clustered.

Good quick getaway

A good property right near the main drag of geneva on the lake. Had problems with the wi-fi and trying to watch but the yard made up for it

Disappointed! Not like the pictures shown on vrbo. Garbage all over back yard with over flowing garbage cans. Inside,It looked like nobody cares to clean Or take care of the cottage properly.. Only positive thing we can say…the beds were comfortable & shower was decent.the location was great

Beautiful clean house!

The house was very updated , large and beautiful. The backyard is great for a fire and cookout. The renter was knowledgeable and very sweet with answering all of my questions. We stayed two nights and absolutely loved every part of it. It's alittle farther from the strip then we expected initially but besides that no complaints. I would definitely book this house again!

The house is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. A couple of small things needed detail. It should state that the game room is not connected to the house. It was a garage. The concrete floor has been painted and there’s no heat except for the small heaters provided. It was too cold to hang out there. The Roku remote was missing also. In the kitchen, some of the utensils and the chores were dirty. There was no can opener. The beds are very very comfortable. The only bathroom on the main floor is the one in the master bedroom.

Girls weekend

House was very clean and quaint and decorated very cute. I would only have one recommendation to add a few more mirrors throughout the house. There was only one in the bathroom and that was challenging with 7 women.😊 I would stay at this property again.

It was just okay...Things we loved: the backyard, the quantity of space, provided linens and towels, location, and A/C. Things that need to be fixed: The broken door handle on the front sliding door, the small TV is missing cables to turn it on, the grill is not safe to use (gas leaks from the beginning of the plooma), cabinet door hinge under sink is broken, spaghetti pot needs replaced, and it really could use a deep clean (lots of dust bunnies under everything and in the corners).

Explanation of our stay

I never write a review but..The website was un clear..about the lockbox with the key in it..which was wrong it was just a code to get into the side of the house..and lickbox was on garage..the front sliding glass door was open when we got there. There was no toliet paper.. our baked goods on counter were ruined because of ants everywhere.. Tv in one room did not work with no batteries. The cleanliness of outside was horrible..and under the beds was previous renters with wrappers ..and wine glass. Under beds has not been clean in a while.. Hand soap in bathroom was empty. Besides all of that the house was hood and location was great. And host got back very quickly. Thats the reason for 3 stars.

A cozy stay

The house is quaint and cozy, but has an odd layout and one needs to be mindful of steps between some rooms. The location is tucked off of the main road but still close to everything there is to do, which made it perfect for our girl’s weekend.

Cute house with great location

We had such a great time, it’s a perfect walking distance from the strip! Very spacious for 8 people! The only complaint we have was there wasn’t really any cleaning supplies, so if we spilled something the only thing we had to use was a swiffer wet jet. The pull out beds were slightly uncomfortable, so we went and bought an air mattress. Everything was amazing. We had trouble with the lock at first, but the property owners answered so quickly and really helped us out. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Unfortunately I should have asked a out handicap accessibility. I was hurt in an accident & needed to be in a wheelchair. The side entrance was ok but a big step up into the home was difficult for family to get me in . Also the back deck had a big step off the gate that was difficult. A handicap ramp & hand rail in shower would have been helpful. This was something I forgot to ask so my family made it all work. We enjoyed our stay very much & the home was lovely. We will definitely stay here again.

Little getaway.

Interior was very roomy and clean. Kitchen was well appointed except for the coffee situation. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the morning and creating a fire in the fire pit in the evening. Although the home was within walking distance to the strip, about a quarter mile, it was further than we wanted to walk, so we drove to the strip and parked. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed going to Breakwater Beach at Geneva State Park and visting several wineries to enjoy local wine. Also enjoyed live music at Sporterz as well as yummy burgers and salads. Mary's has a great breakfast. Things that could have been better: no dressers to store clothing- had to leave everything in suitcase, very stuffy at night, no K-cups as promised and the only other coffe maker only made 2 cups at a time. In the afternoon/evening, we liked to sit on front deck, but there were so many dead bugs and spiderwebs we had to broom it off first. If we stayed here again, we would bring a few box fans, and a pop up shelter for the back deck, as well as a normal size coffeemaker. We drink too much coffee for a Keurig to be practical. The house served us well for our mini vacay, and we would stay here again.

Be cautious

Pricing for Demographics and locations is key to what you get inside and outside & are two major issues with this VRBO home. A VRBO should not make a person feel uncomfortable when arriving as this one did around the exterior for us.
