Location was good. The cabin needs some TLC. Carpet upstairs was stained pretty bad. Several broken, cracked tile in the bathrooms, showers could use a good cleaning, and walls could use a paint job. Both side doors were hard to lock. House had plenty of room for the 7 of us and other than the need for some TLC we enjoyed our stay.
Great family get-together for Thanksgiving.
Lots of close-up bear sightings!! House was perfect size for our family. Loved the great room and eating area.
Speaking from 1st hand experience, an additional “bear-a-cade” would be helpful on the hot tub gazebo. Ha!
This was the perfect spot of 8 adults and 2 two year olds! We seen 2-3 bears each day and even had one get in one of our vehicles- made sure the doors were locked after that! The parking spaces were very small but we were able to fit 3 vehicles. The refrigerator didn’t stay super cold while people were in and out of it but would cool back down over night.
Nice but needed maintenance. AC upstairs did not cool properly. Leak under bathroom sink. Both issues reported and worked on but still not completely fix the problems. Otherwise all was good.

Okay stay
The house certainly accommodated our needs. layout was good. Views were limited although when the leaves drop I would assume it is fantastic. Overall the cleanliness lacked in several departments. Kitchen table had a coat of dust . Toilets were not cleaned thoroughly (there was poop on the seat on one when we checked in. Not kidding) Generally the house could use a thorough dusting. I would also suggest a new teapot and coffeemaker. We did enjoy the hot tub and the porches and fireplace.

Should have been better. Really.
The cabin was pretty & the room layouts as described. The toilet in the bedroom screamed all night, every night. The pump kept thumping & pumping every single night (at pretty much 5 minute intervals). It kept us up so much & so loud that we shut off all the water to the toilet until we had to use it. Ridiculous. The shower curtain did not cover the entrance to the shower so it soaked the entire floor & we had to use the towels that were intended for us, to clean up the floor after each shower...which meant unnecessary laundry while we were on vacation just so we could have clean fresh towels for our bodies. Ridiculous. There were cobwebs in many areas that led us to believe that no one had been there to freshen for our stay. The bathroom for the bedroom we stayed in was honestly the worst. The walls were scraped & damaged without repair. The curtain in the window- Crooked & hanging on a pole that was clearly not intended for that window. The tile at the toilet was cracked badly. I took pictures of it all.
Door handles to the outside porches falling off EVERYTIME we touched it to go on the porch.
The bed was HORRIBLE. My husband and I kept rolling to the center of the "nest" . It was a big dip in the middle of the mattress that we could not get out of. I left with a horrific back ache that lasted a week. (We are not old & do not have physical issues that cause this ever) The sink in the bathroom was not functional. When we brushed our teeth, it backed up and then streaming into the cabinet below - had to clean that up too & then not use it for the duration of our trip. We were only there for a few days on that leg of our trip. It was not worth trying to get someone to come fix these things that were CLEARLY LEFT UNDONE. It would have been more hassle to have people in to fix this while we were on vacation. It should have been right the fist day we walked in. We have stayed in better places in Gatlinburg. We venture here frequently. This was unacceptable.
It was alot of things like this that made it less than pleasant, less than convenient, more than frustrating and irritating.
The refrigerator door has an issue and would not catch right, so we found it open frequently.
Small issue but still an issue.
As a whole, small issues everywhere. Should have been better all the way around.
On the upside, the views were gorgeous.
The wifi worked well.
The pac man game upstairs was fun and worked well. It should have been better.
The house was perfect for our week long stay to celebrate Christmas holidays. Everyone was comfortable and we were able to spread out and enjoy being together. The roads getting to the house were steep and could be bad had there been icy roads. Good thing we experienced unseasonably warm temperatures.
Tree Tops was perfect for our family of 13. It was perfect for our three generations and was exactly what we needed for everyone from the toddlers to the grandparents! The whole process was easy, simple and stress free!!
This property is located on top of a mountain or halfway. The cabin was beautiful, especially with the surrounding of nature, the trees, different colors this time of year were beautiful. We were able to see birds, squirrels, and 2 black bears which seemed to be very curious as one was able to get into my son's truck because of the window being rolled down with 2 honey buns in the floorboard wrapped up into plastic bags that were forgotten about. We had breakfast that morning and I don't know if it was the smell of food cooking or if they had been fed at this property before; our family left to go to Gatlinburg Center to do shopping and when we came back they were 2 muddy bear paw prints that were on the door of the cabin. This was scary and I would advise that someone makes sure that prior or future renters DO NOT FEED THE BEARS.!!!!! Looking back, after our stay, the cabin, surroundings, and location were beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone stay in this cabin if you are a true nature lover, which we all are. Thank you and God Bless for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.
This cabin is great! We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, large living room with ample seating, and semi-mountain view. The hot tub was clean and worked well. The screened in porch was always shaded and private. We saw a bear ever day during our stay! This cabin is older, but it was perfect for our large family.
This cabin is high up the mountain, and the roads leading to it are steep in some areas, so be prepared! My only complaint is the two parking spots. We had three vehicles, but we managed to make it work.
Beautiful cabin. Plenty of room. Nicest place we have ever stayed in 30+ years of coming to Gatlinburg. Also, the closest I have ever gotten to heaven. It is up there! This cabin also has the cleanest hot tub we have ever had and, it worked great. I would definitely go back.
