"We had a lovely sea vue suite with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. A coffee maker is provided with some coffee. we took our own kettle and tea bags as tea drinkers are not catered for ( I learnt this from previous reviews). The only other problem is that although the hotel has lifts in the main part of the building the sea view suites are in a separate building without lifts. Our building at level 4 was connected via an indoor bridge to the main building. As we were on level six we had to climb 36 steps to reach our room. This should be mentioned in the room descriptions as these rooms are clearly not suitable for the less mobile or families with buggies or wheelchairs. The hotel is very close to the aiport and a taxi was only 10 euros. A bus stop is also close by and it was easy to move about the island by bus."
"We had a room with a full sea view which was delightful. There was a lift and ramps to the room and around the hotel so good for less mobile and families with prams. However there are about 48 steps if you want to go down to the beach.
Bus stop just a short walk.
Beds were comfortable and having a bath with shower over is good for a nice soak. Large balcony would have had room for a clothes airer and perhaps a lounger. As this is a self catering apartment a tea towel would have been appreciated. Luckily we had packed our own"
"Fabulous staff, rooms, bathrooms. We loved the bar service to beds at the lovely swimming pool, the gardens were a spectacular surround for the rooms and pool. We ate in the restaurant once - it was great. The local restaurants are about 5 mins walk away, or a short public bus ride (2-3 stops) to the marina for very very fresh fish. We loved it all and we will return. A special thanks to everyone who gave us great service- esp Lord Nelson."
"the property location is lovely, the front desk staff at the time of check in was exceptionally nice, polite and helpful. only couldnt understand why they wont keep water heating keetels in the rooms, specially given its a 4 star property. the breakfast was dissapointing and the staff at the breakfast seem to be in a hurry to windup things closer to buffet closing time, so much so that they even refused to serve us a simple cuppacino after 10:30 am cause the breakfast had officially closed, tho we were still eating. maybe being late is our problem and not theirs i guess. but apart from these issues, good hotel and stay."
"Absolutely lovely and extremely helpful staff. Great location. We stayed only during the day until the afternoon because of sudden change of plans but in the hours we spent we could see everything was perfect. Very spacious, light and comfortable."
"A lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Santa Cruz de La Palma.
The location is excellent - right in the centre of the city. The breakfast was great and the rooms had everything that you could need."
"Dated property with a lot of potential. It seems cheaply refurbished some years ago. Some areas are nice (like the lobby) other are bit worse (rooms, hallways). Staff are really nice and there were many food options. Beautiful views, depending on the room - some might be a bit overlooked."
