"Location was unique. No staff on site. Was not notified that key was in room. Had to drive a few miles to another hotel to be told the keys were in the room. Couldn't get TV to work. Couldn't leave bathroom door open while showering for fear of setting fire alarm off...there is a sign."

"When we arrived, we were told our room was in an area that had not yet been fully built, yet we were the first to arrive early in the morning. They notified me by email the night before, while I was already enroute to Iceland. Clearly, they knew the extensive hotel addition wasn’t going to be finished, yet I got notified THE NIGHT BEFORE! If I had advance notice, I would’ve booked elsewhere. Instead, I was at their mercy to be rebooked where they selected, which affected our tour arrangements....

"We spent two nights at the start and end of the road trip. Basically fine with this hotel, but two negative comments 1. no fridge in the room. 2. hot meal was omitted in the 2nd morning (Wed). One good thing is that we enjoyed the spa and sauna in the in-house gym."

"Great stay , will need to taxi or bus to Reykjavík . Breakfast delicious, staff were very helpful ,cozy rooms ."
