There are a lot of stairs to get to the top floor and that was an issue for me perhaps something to be more precise about in the listing. I was not aware when I booked that I had to pay an additional deposit of £250 on top of having paid the full price in advance. "I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"All good in the end, but the checkin instructions were not particularly clear - quite confusing in fact. We entered the complex and then had no idea how to find our unit. Thankfully someone could give us a bit of guidance (they were not particularly familiar) when we called for support and we eventually found our unit. Very nicely appointed and we had a great stay - a few added sentences to orienting folks for checkin could solve our issue!"

"Easy to check in. Can definitely hear people downstairs at the pub. Nice rooms and living area though! No parking available - 10 min walk to their recommendation at St James, and parking was very expensive. Nice location and walkability for the city."
