Front desk was not staffed, so I had to check in at Quality Inn. Upon walking in, the room smelled musty. There were two bugs on the nightstand that I used the notepad to smash immediately. I found a roach on the wall behind the mini-fridge and another one crawling by the phone on the nightstand right next to the bed! I couldn’t bring myself to sleep in that room so I went back to Quality Inn and got transferred to a room there. I would not recommend!

Of course this is an older property, but the mattresses were in EXCELLENT condition. It's probably not a choice for a vacation stay, but for a night or two off the road it was fine. The hotel is immediatly east of Interstate 75 at exit #384. It's just one exit away from the Univ. of FL. My car's navigation could not find it. The property is reached by turning south and up the steep road between a vacant Shell station and the 43rd St. Deli.

For the construction workers

Sheets on bed had cigarettes burns on them .the sink in bathroom was backed up with grey water.. it is a great place for single guy construction workers .place was full of them. If I had been by myself I would of left. For the price it is a decent amount. The curtains had big stains on them . Room 306.it was a handicapped room .lots of space in bathroom .but no bed bugs .it rained all night so TV lost signal

Although checking in went very smoothly, and my room was accessible as advertised, the floors in the room were filthy! I took a shower while there, only to discover that the soles of my feet were absolutely black, just walking from the shower to the bed. I'm sure this room does not receive as much routine use as the standard rooms, but it definitely needs to have a general cleaning at least twice each week.

The lady at the front desk was rude when I checked in. The room was filthy. Everything was dirty. Refrigerator & microwave didn’t work. 2 outlets in room. 1 bed sunk in the middle. Toilet completely moved. Towels just filthy. Will not stay ever there anymore.

No batteries in the TV remote. Phone cord came disconnected from the hand set when I tried to use it. Phone was not plugged on the wall. Black mold in the bathroom. Hundreds of dead bugs in bathroom light. Towels, etc thin and scratchy. My husband's shoes stuck to the tile by the sink. The chair and furniture were old, worn and dirty. The refrigerator was leaking inside and left a puddle outside on the carpet. The carpet was the worst I've ever encountered. I wore a pair of plain socks after my shower and the bottoms were sticky and black after wearing them for less than 1/2 hour. I had to go to the desk to the room made up. I think she implied the beds were to be made only. I insisted that the sheets must be changed (which they were eventually). I will tell everyone I know to avoid RODEWAY at all costs. Revolting!

I only stayed 2 nights and had to switch to 3 different rooms. Walked into bathroom area and floor was flooded. Bathroom floor, floor outside bathroom and tub were filled with at least 1” of sewage water. Called front desk and she said she would send maintenance guy and switch my room. Had to pack up all my things and drive to other side of building. Brought all my things in new room. Walked into bathroom and tub was filled with feces and water. I called front desk again, now aggravated, and she said she needed to come and look. Like I’m making up the fact that feces and water is in the tub? I told her how absolutely disgusting and inconveniencing it was to now have to get all my stuff and move to a third room. Her only response was well if it was my hotel I’d do things differently. There was never a single person at reception desk entire time I was there. I had to check in and out at hotel reception next door. Very unsatisfactory visit and I will not be returning.
