In the Funchal Centre, with outdoor area - Pena II

This flat, refurbished in 2021, features an excellent terrace where you can enjoy the tranquility of the area, despite being very close to the city centre of Funchal. With two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds—plus a sofa bed in the living room, the property accommodates up to 6 people. It is easily accessible, with quick access to the speedway and nearby services. Enjoy the terrace and the sun on the south side of Madeira, and set off to discover Funchal and the island.

AREA
Guests have easy access to several restaurants nearby, as well as a small café and bakery within a five-minute walk. Most shops, shopping centres, and supermarkets are within a fifteen-minute walk. The flat is close to Lavradores Market, Funchal Old Town, and the Cathedral, making it easy to explore the city’s main sights on foot (e.g., Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc.).

GETTING AROUND
The best option to reach the apartment is by transfer, which can be booked with local partners and is cheaper than airport taxis. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is also a bus stop just two minutes’ walk from the apartment.

We are always available to help or answer questions and do our best to reply to all requests. We also provide an app for guests with important information about the property and your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests must present a valid ID (passport or identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, check-in will be subject to team availability.
- Bed linen and towels are provided. A baby cot, high chair, and baby bath are available on request. The property is equipped with a first aid kit, extinguishers, and a fire blanket.

ATTENTION
A Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in Funchal: €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over), up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person/stay). Upon arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
