"Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location and overall service met my expectations. Most aspects of the hotel were excellent. There were, however, a few disappointments. The biggest issue was the TV in my room. It would automatically reboot itself about every five minutes, making it nearly impossible to watch anything. This should have been caught before the room was assigned to a guest. The fitness center was also underwhelming. It is so long and narrow that there is barely enough room to do a simple yoga or stretching routine. While it has the basic equipment, the layout makes the space feel cramped. The indoor swimming pool was another letdown. It is extremely narrow—more like a creek than a swimming pool—so don't expect to swim laps or have much room to move around. Despite these shortcomings, everything else about my stay was very good. If the hotel addresses these facility issues, I would be happy to stay here again."

"Breakfast was great, really central hotel, I asked for a room away from the road/trams and got that but it was very gloomy and dark. Any issues were dealt with by the staff quickly and efficiently."

"The hotel was better than expected. Not knowing the brand I was concerned it was well located for us. Not in the heart of Oslo but near a great neighborhood and convenient to shops and restaurants. Close to the royal palace and five minute walk to the shops through a nice park. Cleanliness was good but a couple of days we had a housekeeper that wasn't as good as others.The front desk staff was excellent really excellent. The breakfast was excellent and the chef was friendly and even came to our table to make sure we were pleased."

"Nice hotel on the outer rim of the central city in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to most places. The hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, If you are travelling by car try and make sure that you secure a hotel park if you can, there are only eight of them and on street parking is horrifically expensive if you miss out on a hotel park, which we did on the first day but managed to get one the next day. The shower was typical of European / Scandinavian showers, it leaked everywhere across the floor. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet hotel close to the centre of Oslo"

"We are a family of four and have been staying at similarly-priced hotels across Northern Europe for three weeks. This was our favorite one. Good sized room, amenities perfect for us, including small fridge and kettle in room. Breakfast was fantastic. Don't wait until 9:15am to go down, as it goes from very quiet to very busy at that time. Great location, allowing us to walk to the center and Bygdoy quite easily. Very friendly staff, and complimentary coffee in lobby and room! All around highly recommended."
