This is a small fabulous hotel close to Ciampino airport. For our last night l, I wanted one more taste of Italy - this is a winner. The hotel is exposed beams, charming details and genuine Italian people. The restaurant next door was the surprise, incredible food and an old wine cellar converted to a fabulous taverna. Wine by the pitcher and portions that are large by American measures. It was an incredible last evening in Italy.

Friendly accommodating staff Large clean room

Villa Abbamer is like a little museum with interesting art and objects around every corner. We would have liked to explore more, but our stay was brief. Very comfortable and quiet room. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay.

This is my second stay, my first was 11 years ago. The hotel has deteriorated in the past decade with no obvious signs of refurbishment. I love the property. It is so beautiful! I haven't seen a bad room yet and even when we stayed in a separate building, we had a beautiful view. I enjoyed my stay but there were a few issues. The staff is spread too thin. The bartender is also the waitress (she ran in to make our drinks and was quickly gone to finish dinner service). The front desk/phones are...

What a great surprise! We were looking for a hotel in Rome for our stay in Italy and couldn’t find something we liked that would be in our budget. We came across this hotel and read in one of the reviews that it is half an hour by train from Rome. We decided to take it. What a great choice! The hotel is just what we wanted; an authentic feel, a welcoming crew and beautiful view of Rome. The train ride (given no strike happening) is short and about 2 euros each way. The town, Frascati, is a gem!...

Really modern hotel, great bar and restaurant. Large spacious rooms, tastefully furnished. Friendly helpful staff, easy commute to Rome (30 mins to Roma Termini). We looked at staying in Rome, but the hotels there did not have any available parking, and I was driving a rental car. Also based on the pictures on websites the hotels in Rome seem to be old, poorly maintained and they charge premium dollars based on location only. If you are willing to add a half hour commute each way then this...

Great hotel with fantastic views and a great staff. Walking distance to many restaurants and cool sites.

The property and location are exquisite. Our room was comfortable, all staff were kind and helpful, and we felt very welcomed. The breakfasts were delicious with an extensive spread of food and beverages. The pool was lovely. The villa is beautiful and we really enjoyed exploring it.

Very nice big property quiet and safe. Wonderful and accommodating staff. Needs a bit of renovating as its a bit run down but must have been a beautiful place in its prime. Ample parking on the property. Good location if you have a car, between Frascati and Grottaferrata. Air conditioning could have been better. But would definitely come back.

My wife and I live in the usa and we decided to visit italy so I went on Line and I start looking around so I so the hotel threw the pictures and I also read the review so we decided to go for it . When we went there we found out that the hotel is way far away from the air port so we called the hotel and they were very helpful the directed us to the easiest way to get to the hotel and when we went there they were so nice to us and they helped us with everything starting by how to have a good...

It was great place to be.

This is Italy the way it was. Great

AC, spacious room, great location in the middle of the town, outstanding breakfast. The breakfast is included and is located at hotel bella vista second floor. There you have a variety of items to choose from including a batista ro make any type of coffee you want. Ask for a croissant they are delicious, flaky and buttery. You can just walk a few feet and find gellatto, restaurants, shops, markets. It is a small town however the vibe is great. You are 30 min from Rome by train but away enough to...

Wonderful staff, especially Alexander and Anthony. Very clean and accessible. Would recommend to anybody.

Walking distance from train that goes to the airport, central location! Would stay there again.

Hotel Artemide is centered in a convenient location. We were able to walk, to & from the train station, The Trevi Fountain & The Pantheon. The staff is very accommodating. Special thank you to Sabina who greeted us every morning at breakfast with a warm smile. Her service was magnificent! By the way breakfast choices were excellent, they even had many vegan choices .Desk staff Andrea & Francesco were very friendly & always gave a warm greeting .Francesco who helped us with our bags gave...

This place was so great to stay at. I felt safe and taken care of. It was such a luxury place to stay at. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk and the other places were just a short taxi ride away

Riiiight in the thick of it but even our room on the 2nd floor was very quiet. Great service and staff was very friendly!
