"We reported a strong odor of heating fuel and the host dismissed our concerns to justify denying a refund without coming to the property in person despite living locally. VRBO did the right thing and refunded us but this host left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we will be careful about booking at any of his properties again."

"This place is so beautiful. The gas fireplace makes the spacious living area cozy. The kitchen is very well appointed and spotless. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and each has a lovely bathroom. It is very close to the fantastic restaurants in North Woodstock and woukd be a great place to stay on a ski trip. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Did not use any of the amenities this time, but all are very good and clean. My only suggestion would be that in the bedroom the curtain be changed so it can be closed all the way. On the bottom floor, a couple of times people were walking by the back of the property in the snow and you can see directly into the bedroom."
