"The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I also requested an iron but was informed that one was not available and that I would need to pay €5 for a shirt to be ironed instead. On a positive note, the breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. However, I would choose to stay at a different hotel on my next visit."

"Our hosts were very gracious and concerned that we had all we needed for a good stay. They even brought us a basket of vegetables from which we made a great soup. We loved the peace and quiet of the area and the views as the daylight changed. So good to have a wash machine and a place to easily dry clothes. This beautiful traditional old Tuscan villa has all the amenities needed for modern life. "

She is so skilled in what she does, and coordinated great vendors with timeliness and organization. "Very friendly and accommodating hosts. The meal they cook was excellent. The location was beautiful and the pool area was kept immaculate. It was a characterful and spacious property but some of the furnishings were a little tired and wobbly. The spa bath did not work and neither did the plug in the bath. The plug in the kitchen sink also did not work and some of the cabinets were in need of repair. Overall it was a beautiful place to holiday and I would have no reservations about recommending it to others."

"Absolutely beautiful stone villa up in the hills.The house was just perfect and the pool was great.I cannot say enough about the property and the owners.Lorella brought us fresh produce from her gardens and a bottle of outstanding local wine.Her son Lorenzo responded vert quickly to any questions and was super helpful.Very highly recommend this property"
