"Very nice property. Have stayed a few times. It was off season so very quiet. Continental breakfast could have been better. Hotel is very well kept and adorable. "
"Mountain View is not so mountainous it just look good in the pictures , better place to book would be Blow rock , this was like a 2 story motel in the middle of the story , interior design was good , comfortable , streaming apps on tv , oh but when we got in bed it had sand in it , seemed the didn’t clean it , we didn’t complain we didn’t feel like moving to another room with all our stuff , we just cleaned the sand and went to sleep . "
"The hotel and staff were great. The coffeemaker in my room was broken, but I simply went downstairs to the breakfast service instead. Also, on the second day of my stay, I had only lukewarm water, but no hot water. I reported both issues and I am sure these issues have been taken care of."
"The hotel was older. The elevators were not working the first day and we had to take the stairs after waiting. They finally put a sign up. The hallway smells of smoke. The pool needed to be filled and it was out of order. The breakfast was sparse. The staff was polite and nice. The bathroom was old but it was clean and water was hot. It had a view and was close to everything but if I known everything, I would have probably chosen another hotel. Not what I am used to for Quality. "
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boone University
8/10 Good
"Perfectly good place to stay the night. It’s not a place I would pick to have the most relaxing and luxurious vacation of my life, but it was great for the price and the amenities. Jocelyn at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet on the third floor. Breakfast was good and they even had separately wrapped gluten free bread. The property shares its parking lot with another hotel, so there were some people smoking and being loud out there late into the evening, but we couldn’t hear it from our room. We brought our dog and had easy access to the parking lot from the stairwell so we didn’t have to take her through the lobby. Overall, if I needed a decent place to stay the night, I would stay here again. "
