Secluded Cabin Escape with Fire Pit & Scenic Views
10/10 Excellent
"We were so fortunate to find Golden Ridge cabin for our stay in the mountains above Harrisonburg. This was a beautiful, thoughtfully designed home in a private, tranquil setting, just 20 minutes from town. The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, two bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and bedding, a full bathroom with excellent shower, a large living room with a smart TV and bluetooth speaker, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a spacious screened in back porch with a sitting area, hammock, and relaxing views of the surrounding trees. We stayed for only two nights but we wish we could have stayed longer and we hope to return. This was the last stop on a long regional road trip, and it was the most peaceful and lovely place we stayed on our travels--truly a highlight of the trip. Co-hosts Kurtis and Kiki were wonderful. They provided friendly, proactive communication throughout, made sure the home was immaculate upon our arrival, and left clear written instructions in the home along with complimentary coffee and tea. What a wonderful VRBO experience. Highly recommended!"

Cozy river front log cabin close to, Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob

"A little surprised how close the cabin was to the road. Expected it to be a little more remote. Also hard to start a fire in the fire pit. Would have been nice to have dry wood and fire starters. But otherwise great"
