Property was old but clean. Couldn’t find anyone to check me in. I had to walk around the building to find somebody to help me. Shouldn’t someone be at front desk at all times?

Good deal!

Some maintenance was required for non essential items in the room but the manager noted these and contacted the technicians to do so Overall a great deal and the bed was super comfortable- and I got the rest I needed on a long trip.

I'm from a big city. I wasnt expecting much with this being a small town. But after checking in. Seeing the cleannes of the room. Surprised me. I mean i loved the room. The staff greeted you with a smile. Very helpful. I actually felt welcomed. There arent any soda machines (but a McDonald's next door) as i wanted a soda. I went to office ad the woman there offered and gave me 2 sodas of her own. I highly recommend this motel. Thanks to the staff for being so nice and rooms so clean.

Old and decaying, but clean and good service

The hotel is old and years beyond needing an update, but for the price, I can not complain. The bed was comfy, but the heat/AC air did not seem so fresh.

Nice but old, toll bridge was a pain

The actual motel was clean and smelled fresh. It was a rather old motel but had been somewhat updated. Not enough outlets for electronic devices and furniture was a bit tattered. No real complaints. If you are not needing to get over to the Illinois side you are fine, but the bridge is a toll bridge and we were late to get to our destination more than once to wait for barges to get through. Would not stay in Ft Madison again for a destination to be in Illinois, although it was close in Proximity, to Nauvoo where we were actually visiting.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and the staff was friendly an efficient. The reason I did not give 5 stars is there was not much selection for a reasonable late dinner in the neighborhood besides fast food.

Cleanest rooms for real

There was a sign for the motel that read cleanest rooms in the area and I felt that. Thoroughly surprised at how clean and comfortable the room was. The room was 30 minutes away from the attraction I was attending but it was worth it

Comfort at Knight's Inn

It's all about what you're looking for. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Everything is also dated and the building looks solid enough to withstand a tornado. I needed a place to rest and do work, and it fit the bill exactly without any extra frills. Because there aren't any, really. It's not a place to hole up for a vacation, but rather a place to sleep after you've done whatever brought you to Fort Madison in the first place.

Comfortable. Great value!

Older motel, well maintained, clean, very comfortable beds. Friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast not exciting -- cereal, milk, juice, coffee, pastries, fruit -- no dining area. Parking right outside the room. Great place to stay for the money.
