"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The establishment however, was very worn and in need of upgrades. The breakfast consisted of donuts and frozen Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits. Nothing fresh. No fruit. I didn’t expect much considering the area we were in but we enjoyed the countryside and visiting the birth place of Loretta Lynn. "

"It was a very busy weekend and we stayed for one night only. The air conditioning in our room did not work properly overnight and it was very difficult to sleep due to the heat. The bathroom in the hotel could definitely have been much cleaner."

The elevator was filthy. I didn’t ask for the teen marriage honeymoon hot tub room, but that’s the room I got! It seriously had an outdated jetted tub for two 10 ft from the bed. Gross. Every corner of the ceiling had thick cobwebs and cobwebs over the tops of the curtains. It was almost like this was a room that they...

"The A/C was off all day on a 94 degree day, we arrived at 6pm the room was unbearably hot. No WiFi, the Breakfast was pretty much useless. The chair in the room was grotesque. The bedsheet had visible stains. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed at another hotel in Big Stone Gap Virginia for $10 more a night and the difference was night and day. The sad part is most of the problems are self inflicted."
