Cozy Eagle River Lakeside Log Cabin on Sunset Lake

"WOW, We have stayed at many homes and this one is at the top of all those. This is the first time the physical property exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with quality things. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice shredder so we could make homemade hash browns from potatoes at the farmer's market. We were able to cook PERFECT steaks from the Prime Choice Meat Mkt as the gas grill was clean and in perfect working order & again, we were surprised to find a meat thermometer!Our hosts went above and purchased a new pack-n-play for our 15 month old grandson so we didn't need to bring one. The fridge was nice and large with an ice maker that worked great for summer drinks.Outdoor spaces were all neat, clean with plenty of seating. The fire pit is the largest one I have ever seen. They provide firewood, kindling a Smores kit and nice long sticks for either Smores or hot dogs, etc.The hosts greeted us and made sure we were familiar with the house and all its features. They really want their guests to be comfortable - they thoughtfully labeled many of the light switches, a small, but thing but really makes the first day or so easier. Bill walked us through the boat. They have plenty of life preservers including one for our little one.They even thought about the dogs & had dishes, towels & a cushion for our fury one.We had a wonderful family week and hope to return in the future!"

"Unique (in a good way!) house in a private setting on a beautiful lake. Lots of space, big kitchen and outdoor areas, and very comfortable. Owner and caretakers were great to work with throughout. Highly recommend this property for a large group."

"This was our second year at this property. It does not disappoint. Beautiful home and perfect location. Unfortunately our truck battery died during our stay but I was able to reach out to the owner and they had a jump starter pack. Their response was very timely. Fishing right off the dock is fun and the use of yard games and water equipment is convenient. Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your home and if we don’t buy our own lake house by next year, we will probably be staying again!"

Lured Den - Private Lakefront Cottage - HOT TUB!

"This was perfect for our long weekend family getaway with two teenage boys. We got in lots of fishing, kayaking, and had a good time relaxing in the hot tub. The rain was hit-or-miss so we never had a bonfire but everything was there for us if the weather had cooperated. Will definitely keep this place on our list of vacation options!"
