"Everything was great until the boiler fired up just after midnight and I realised thats what was in the cupboard 3ft from my pillow! Dont think we will return which is a shame as the location and the staff were brilliant but a boiler in the bedroom Really!!!"

"A return trip for us and another good stay. It was very hot (no air conditioning) but a fan was provided and the current heat is unprecedented! The food in the pub is excellent and the breakfast was great too."

"Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts. I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect! Thanks so much. I hope to be back soon."
