"Carmen and Alicia are excellent hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and gave great dining and site seeing recommendations. All their rooms have private baths which are extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the full breakfast was outstanding! We had eggs, cheese and ham, juice, homemade cake and coffee. There is private access to the 18 hole Pitch and Putt next door and Carmen called and got us a tee time and even leant us her personal clubs, gloves and balls! (It takes...

"The atmosphere at this splendid hotel was so inviting and peaceful that regardless of how your day was going you couldn't help but relax. From the spa-like bathroom with all the little extras, like a toothbrush and toothpaste, incase you'd forgotten them, to the comfortable bed, cute little patio area and quiet rooms. The lobby area had several comfortable little seating nooks, providing a nice place to read a book with a cup of tea or wait for a friend to grab you for dinner. The pool area and bar was a wonderful place to soak in the sunshine. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wish the pool had been heated (consider installing solar power heating in future maybe) as even in late Oct it was hot enough for a swim, but I enjoyed the lounge chairs and huge patio area regardless. The only other suggestion would be to adjust the room doors so they don't slam shut but otherwise you couldn't hear anything in your room. The hotel was clean, well kept and a little oasis on the Costa Brava. I can't wait to return."
