Cozy renovated 2 bedroom/1 Bath 1/2 duplex located above/behind the one-and-only Bert's Market...only one block from the beach and one block from Center Street!

Our unit features heart pine flooring throughout, a Sony 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Theater with a 60" Sony Bravia TV in the living room and a 42" Sony Bravia TV in the bedroom with bunks, HD DirectTV, Wi-Fi, new appliances, tons of natural light, and an eclectic mix of comfortable designer furniture and decor.

The layout is extremely spacious, with the living room, dining area and kitchen area all connecting together without walls. There is a large porch out front, and a small one out back, from which you can see the ocean. A great place to find some solitude.

The unit is located right behind Bert's Market, which is the local 24 hour grocery store and deli so if you arrive and find you are missing something, odds are Bert's will have it, and you are only footsteps away. (We can also arrange to have your unit PRESTOCKED with groceries. Just mention it.) You are also only one block from Center St., the heart of Folly Beach's commercial district, with a great variety of shopping and delicious food.

In addition to the unit, guest are welcome to enjoy the communal outdoor kitchen, grill, outdoor fireplace and out door tv with cafe light

We are locals, and are very responsive for any questions or issues that may come up.

Folly is an eclectic barrier island to Historic Charleston. Artist, musicians, surfers, and regular folk abound. Folly takes pride in welcoming people from all walks of life.

The unit is centrally located, only one block from Center St, where the shops and restaurants are and right behind Bert's. So if you want to just walk to everything you can or you can rent a golf cart of beach cruiser to explore the rest of the island. Uber, your car or a rental can be used to visit Charleston or Johns Island.

There is a $100 non-refundable pet fee if you'd like to bring your furry friend(s).

All linens are provided, as well as utensils. We will usually provide at least two rolls of toilet paper and two rolls of paper towels. For short stays, this may be enough, but for longer stays you will have to provide the surplus for your need.

Bert's Market can stock the unit with groceries with not service charge.

This property is close to anything you desire. Park your car and don't get in it again until it's time to head home. The style and effort put into the decor is much appreciated. The beds are clean and more comfortable than my own home. Pets are welcome, which is a must for me. After a long day on the beach, you can open the windows and enjoy the live music from next door - always a great performance. I have stayed at this property multiple times and look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed this property. It is walking distance to everything. We had a small issue with rhe AC but Omar & Julia responded quickly and had it fixed right away! Chico Feo generally had ok music & I knew it would be loud, which we were prepared for. Music was only awful one night but we just went to Planet Follywood and then sat on the beach until it was over! I would stay here again.

Incredible location in the heart of the action

This place is ideal for folks that want to be in the middle of everything. Across the street view of Chico Feo live music every night and above 24/7 Bert’s market. Not a quiet beach bungalow, this is a party pad location. It wasn’t crazy loud but there are bands and ppl around until late evening every weekend.

Would love to Return!

We stayed for a short stay over Easter with our family. The unit was perfect, and the convenience to the beach and Bert’s was excellent. The beds were also very comfortable. My daughter loved the toys provided! The music from Chico Feo is pretty loud in the main bedroom, but we didn’t mind and it didn’t go very late.

Perfect location!

Great stay, needs some cleaning

Pros: check in was easy and communication with the hosts was great. They always answered any questions I had. The space was big and as a group we never felt like we were on top of each other. The location was great, we could walk to all the restaurants and to the beach no problem. Cons: the floors were not clean. And the second to last day we saw a roach on the desk that is in one of the bedrooms.

Comfy place & awesome location

I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Its a very spacious and comfy place. It can definitely get a little loud having the restaurant next door but the live music there is an absolute vibe. My only issues were that the floor was a bit dirty, our feet looked like we had been walking barefoot outside all day. There was also only one or two rolls of toilet paper and I believe only one roll of papertowel. There were also no extra trash bags. Bert's is literally right there so it wasnt a huge deal, just a little inconvenient it wasnt stocked. I'd book here again in a heart beat though. Such a great locations from the nightlife and the beach+

Great location. 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to the center of town. You can’t get better than that. Dog friendly too.

Favorite Folly spot

Omar and Julia have the PERFECT places to kick back and relax. The decor is trendy, eclectic, and SO comfortable! You are greeted with hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances, clean white couches, bedding and towels. The mattresses are amazing, best sleep away from home you can get! The beach is a stones throw away, visible from the back porch, and about a 90 second walk away. You can enjoy the live music across the street in the evenings from the porch as well. There is a shower below the porch and at the beach access. Center street is a very short walk away - just two streets - where you can find a wide variety of shops and restaurants. You are literally right on top of Bert's Market which offers a little bit of everything, is always open, and always has friendly staff ready to help. Oh, and there's a washer and dryer, so you don't have to head home with a suitcase of dirty clothes. Best of all, fur babies are welcome, and I wouldn't dream of heading to the beach without my best buddies. The only negatives I can think of... there were a few burned out lightbulbs (which had I bothered to mention I have no doubt would have been addressed within the hour, I just didn't need them so I didn't bother them with it), and house keeping is a little lax with the love they show the floors (dusty and sandy, BUT IT'S THE BEACH, WHO CARES!) I've stayed here before, and hope to stay again. Highly recommend!
