Definitely does not look like the pictures carpets are very stained… half the fencing around the pool is missing. There’s poison ivy growing in the garden right next to the pool. Definitely could use a refresh!

Worst experience ever
I have never stay at a vrbo that was this bad. I had to end up calling vrbo and get the supervisor to get me a refund and book another stay elsewhere. The host only wanted to give me 50% of my money back which is terrible. With this house being in such bad shape. The pool had green alga in it the fence is broken all around the pool deck. The there are 2 hot tubes and one is inoperable, the other was green and cloudy. The ac didnt work upstairs. Carpet is very stained up in all room. Broken window, cabinet door class. Broken sink, holes in walls. The list goes on and on vrbo did a great job with helping my get my refund though

I rented this property for the weekend with some friends, and while we enjoyed our stay, there were several things that were misleading – and disapponting.First, I will say that my experience with the host was good. Abigail was very responsive, and that made my experience easy. The primary issue for my stay was that the property was not cleaned properly. I’ve included a couple of photos where you can see what looks like pet hair on the sheets of several beds. Not pictured, there were other beds that required cleaning. My guests and I used a vacuum to clean the beds ourselves to ensure they had a bed to sleep in. Not only was that embarrassing for me, but it’s also disappointing.Next, there were several instances where the upkeep on the house was misleading. I recognize there were very bad storms and flooding in the area last year, but as you can see in the photos I’ve shared, the fence in the back yard is destroyed. Also, the outdoor furniture, which I would have liked to use more, was badly damaged and not comfortable to sit on. The pool floor was stained green, which did not look like the photos in the listing. Not to mention inside the house, where several of the chairs felt like they would break when sitting in them. Finally, there was a bat living in the chimney, which made a ton of noise throughout my stay.Overall, the property worked for what I needed, but for the money I paid, I would not recommend staying here. The upkeep is not satisfactory.
Two things I really wanted were listed in the property description a hot tub and fireplace. Neither were working. The house is advertised to have a fireplace, it has two, one locked shut with a cable and the other is a fake plug-in. The photos used to advertise this once magnificent place are misleading. Pool deck is badly mildewed. By the nonfunctioning hot tub with the cover nailed shut, were all the pool toys from the last summer party. The new hot tub had grayish looking cold water in it. It was not plugged in. The chemical dispersing basket lay empty on the hot tub steps. It did not warm up overnight. Surprise! A webcam is overlooking pool and hot tub. It was not mentioned in the listing. The barbeque grill was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen at a rental. It was covered with grease, grime, chunks of rotting food and the dirty utensils from the last user. The property had sustained some storm damage, knocking down trees and about a third of the pool surround. Nothing had been cleaned up. The pool cover is filthy. Deck chairs are being used to hold it down. The inside was clean but worn a bit. There are missing bulbs around the house. The games are worn. The house is in a great neighborhood and if cleaned up, could be a fantastic vacation rental. After many texts with the host/property manager Abby only offered a space heater and a grill. We chose to leave after one night. It cost me forty percent of the week’s rental to spend one night and escape.
