"Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."

"We only had a short stay there but the hotel and rooms are spotless, staff friendly and helpful, excellent food and well stocked bar. Ample parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to go back again. Thanks guys and gals 👍"

"Hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. There is a small bar in reception and and football was on the tv for the World Cup which was nice. Toby carvery is next door which is very convenient. Parking is free. Air con would have been nice but was it ok as it wasn’t too hot when we stayed."
