"Excellent value for money with breakfast included. The bed linen was fresh and clean and generally clean but slidiing door to ensuite was very hand marked, the window sill needed a good wipe and lower part of large mirror a better clean. For the price and general overall experience of the stay these would just be areas I would focus on. "

"It does exactly what it says on the tin. I always stay here during Henley royal regatta. It’s not cheap and this time the room was a bit small, but generally it’s all good. Staff were super nice. For me, a bonus is having Waitrose and another supermarket just a few minutes away. Means I don’t have to buy hotel food."

"Sadly - welcome was not that good - basic not welcoming. Room was not ready as we discovered - both bathroom gel bottles were empty , two less than half toilet rolls barely lasted the night. When we reported this - no one was available at the desk at 7.30 am - so spoke to someone on phone. We went out for a walk , thinking it would be dealt with, but on return discovered it wasn’t - excuse was that they thought we had gone out for the day - so had to chase in order to shower. "Lovely hotel - the receptionist was so friendly at check in. We stayed here for a London concert so didn’t spend much time at the hotel but perfect for what we needed and a good breakfast"

"Cliveden is truly an amazing place to experience! We have stayed here before and this time was even better. Their staff is also absolutely amazing! We had quite a journey getting to England because our original flight to Paris was canceled so we got to Paris later than anticipated and then the trains to England were down because of the heat wave so we couldn't get to London as originally planned either.
