"The hotel itself was good , the room was clean and furniture in good condition, which so often it’s not , but when i entered to check in I was made to feel like I was intruding, like it was an effort for the reception person to deal with me , they remained seated the whole time . There was no water in my room , usually there are bottled water in the fridge or on the side , when I went back to reception to ask if there is any , I was told to go to the bar , “ he’d sort it out “ when I did I was told it would be £4.25 I wasn’t happy and then I asked him if he’d charge it to my room ? He said no , the bar was a seperate entity to the hotel and no charging , I was made to walk all the way back to my room to get money which was at the other end of the hotel . Considering I paid over £100 fo a night I thought I’d get a bottle of water , as most hotels do ."

"Nice comfortable room, bit dated but clean. Parking very easy. Breakfast was really good and my grandaughter loved the fresh pancake machine. The staff were really friendly and helpful."

"The houses are well designed and stylish. The bed very comfortable and the shared spa, bar and gym a real luxury. Only downside for me was the staff, not all but some were not as welcoming or as attentive as I would like for the price. Breakfast does stay hot and the some of the layout etc needs thinking about. Please also put access to water by the sauna/spa."

"Very reasonably priced. Surprised to find a cooked breakfast - although the hot food was cold. Room OK but no desk and a very small bathroom."
