"Great hotel if you’re not fussed about food breakfast or the pool. Staff were the only thing which was great apart from the sea view room ofcourse. We enjoyed our stay inside the room but hotel seemed to have some smell. Parking also was super busy hotel didn’t have private spots."

"Great for our 3 night stay. The top floor apartment had everything we needed. Double bed. Sofa bed, bathroom with large shower, cooking facilities a terrace and a view between apartments of the marina. For drivers parking was right outside. For non drivers bus service every 30 minutes from La Spezia/Portovenere. Restaurants are so close. Host waa excellent phoning to make sure we weren’t lost on our arrival by bus and providing lots of details on how to get to places. "

Unlike these new self-service hotels, this hotel is the example of how a hotel should be run, with staff who are readily available, a high-quality, broad-choice breakfast, decor that is tasteful and relaxing, and clean rooms with high ceilings in a solid building. I was concerned about the hotel being close to a main road, but the street noise was not as bad as I had thought it would be. "You need to bring your luggage up to your room. No elevator. Not a good place to stay for someone who has bad legs or hip."

"Staff where very helpful, spoke good English as it is the only language I speak. The hotel is a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the old town harbour shops a nd restaurant"

"15 minutes outside Riomaggiore, which I was worried about at first, however it was really nice to leave the busy town and the bus schedule was convenient. Large patio with amazing views. Incredible restaurant just up the street (il Borgo di campi) family owned, great food, two of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."
