"While Kalgoorlie is a mining town, I must admit when we see the words deluxe cabin, we were thinking something a bit special. Don’t get me wrong, the cabin was clean but it is dated and tired. Our cabin had cracked floor tiles, chips and cracks in the bedroom and toilet doors. The TV was damaged so it was dark on one side, there were text messages sent about locking of all valuables but the security door didn’t lock properly. "Ridiculously overpriced! Obviously aimed at mining companies who are happy to pay way over what it's worth unfortunately making it completely unreasonable from a tourist's perspective. The hotel itself is ok, had it been priced for what it was I would have rated it much higher although check in staff weren't overly friendly."

"Staff at check in was lovely, in room amenities exceptional, complimentary wine and snacks lovely (though it was 2am when we arrived so did not partake) The airport transfer meeting place was ambiguous and could have been simplified by using airport signage as reference - eg the pick up location is actually Pick Up area E at terminal 3. Easier to find and more accurate than the vague 'pickup at terminal 3-4'. Everything else was great."
