Very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay enjoyable. The main drawbacks were the breakfast, which had a fairly limited selection, and the poolside service during the day, as it could sometimes be difficult to get a staff member’s attention to order drinks. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel Layla Gocek, is a hidden jem, it is a little bit of paradise on the outskirts of Gocek. It is a family run establishment and you feel like part of that family. The outside gym was great as were the 2 lagoon pools, the swim up pool bar was an added bonus. The whole establishment was being continually cleaned. You could have been in Thailand or Bali, everyone was amazing. We will definitely be going back and my advice is.... Try it yourself.

Although our overall rating of the Layla is ‘good’ it could have been so much better if the staff were better managed and trained. (If you’re a Brit think Fawlty Towers!) The hotel and setting has a Balinese feel, almost tropical, with 2 beautiful pools. We stayed in 2 rooms both of which could only be described as ‘rustic’ in terms of quality but there was a certain charm and uniqueness which, if you could see beyond the dirty footprints in the carpet and mould in the showers, was quite enchanting. The beds and bedding were very comfortable but for some reason our cups and glasses weren’t cleaned or changed during our whole stay and we had to constantly ask for more tea and coffee supplies as these weren’t topped up every day. The property description is somewhat misleading. There is no spa or gym, and when we asked for a massage we were told that the woman wouldn’t come but we could take a taxi to her place. Children were also present for most of our stay so not ‘adult only’ as described. The inclusive breakfast is fantastic but slightly haphazard. One day plentiful and another not! Breakfast is served in a garden pavilion where you are accompanied by cats, dogs, chickens and peacocks, again very charming. We also had lunch and dinner a number of times all of which were of excellent quality but responsibility for taking orders and serving seems to fall on the shoulders of one guy despite other staff seemingly being present which doesn’t make sense.

Layla is a great place to be. It is like an oasis, away from everything else, in its own little universe with beautiful roosters, chickens, peacocks, dogs, ducks, etc. It is beautifully designed and decorated. It is like Bali in Turkey. The only downside for us was the poor management. The head of staff was extremely stressed and unfortunately his mood was not matching the beautiful and relaxing surroundings. We are surprised how the management did not pick up on that because most guests did. At times, we were scared of asking for anything fearing his negative or defensive reaction. The newly built second pool has opened while we were there and there were some construction still going on around it. We thought that this could have already finished before the season has begun. All in all Layla is a lovely place. With a little bit more care and professional management, it would be unbeatable.

Ich liebe diesen Ort… einfach magisch. Man fühlt sich wie auf Bali. Umgeben von Palmen und Tieren, ideal um runterzukommen. Nicht zu vergessen - das unglaubliche leckere Restaurant DOA! Tolle Massage! Tolles Reformer Pilates Training. Tolle Mitarbeitery Ein einziger Minuspunkt: Das Housekeeping ist nicht ideal.. und ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnte man mal renovieren. Ich komme wieder!

Balayı tatilimiz için çok büyük heveslerle gittiğimiz Layla otelden büyük hayal kırıklığı ile döndük. Ambiyans ve tasarım olarak çok çok güzel bir otel fakat çok önemli noktalarda ihmaller olduğunu düşünüyorum. Daha ilk geceden itibaren odanın içindeki sivrisinekler nedeniyle neredeyse hiç uyuyamadık, bütün tatilimiz boyunca kaşındık. Bunun için hiç bir önlem alınmamıştı biz kendimiz gidip Raid sinek kovucu aldık. Bunun misafirin değil de doğanın içinde bulunan bir otelin işletmesinin düşünmesini, odalarda bulundurulması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Odaya ilk giriş yaptığımızda banyonun temizliği henüz tamamlanmamıştı duşakabinde küfler vardı bunu ilettiğimizde de banyonuzu temizlememişler denildi. Odamızın önündeki bahçe oturma grubu ise çok kötü durumda, lekeli ve rutubet kokuyordu. Akşam yatmak için odaya girdiğimde de sırtımda acı hissettim ve baktığımda büyük bir çekirge gördüm. Görevli arkadaşa konuyu ilettiğimde burası doğa böyle durumlar olabiliyor diyip çekirgeyi eliyle alıp attı. Tabiki doğanın içinde olan bir otel için bu tarz durumlar olası fakat daha önceden düşünülmemiş olması da büyük eksiklik. Ayrıca odamızın kapısı hep kapalı olmasına rağmen bu tarz şeyler oldu duvarlardaki ve tavandaki boşluklardan olduğunu düşünüyorum. Tatilimiz boyunca hiç dinlenemedik ve neredeyse hiç uyuyamadık.

Otelin konumu Göcek merkeze arabayla 10 dk mesafede, sakin bir tatil için çok ideal konumu. Otelin peyzajı, havuzları ve otelde zaman geçirmek çok keyifli, çok huzurlu bir atmosfer var. Eşim ve ben otelde Firuze Hanım’a masaj yaptırdık ikimiz de son derece memnun kaldık, kesinlikle öneririm. Otel hayvan dostu bir otel, benim köpek fobim olmasına rağmen ben rahat ettim, çalışan herkes de benim rahat etmem için çok çabaladı, otelin köpekleri gerçekten çok eğitimli. Ancak tüm bunların yanında oda temizliği maalesef kötü. Kesinlikle iyileştirilmesi gerekiyor. Bizim şansımıza odamınızın kilidi gittiğimizde çalışmıyordu, ancak ertesi gün akşam düzeldi. Odamızın kapısını kilitlemeden çıkmak durumunda kaldık, eşyalarımızla ilgili hiçbir sorun olmadı, zaten bunun güvencesini almıştık. Giriş yaptığımız gün 2 saat kadar sadece bizim odamızda oteldeki bir sorundan dolayı elektrik yoktu. İlk günün akşamı sıcak suyumuz kesildi, o gün akşam iletmemize rağmen ertesi gün akşam tekrar söylediğimizde düzeldi. Banyomuzun gideri tıkalıydı, bunu ilk gün söylememize karşın son gün banyomuz taşınca çözüm üretildi. Temizlik personeli o saatte olmadığı için banyoyu biz kuruladık. Bunların hepsi üst üste gelince bizim için iyi bir deneyim olmadı. İnlice halk plajına otel yürüyerek 7-8 dk mesafede. Biz plajı çok beğenmedik ama plaj otelden bağımsız. Otelde bisiklet vardı ama lastikleri inikti, kullanıma hazır değildi. Kahvaltısı ne çok iyi ne de çok kötü diyebilirim, yeterliydi.

Oldukça nezih, huzurlu ve dinlendirici keyifli bir tatil deneyimiydi. Evcil hayvanı olan misafirler için oldukça elverişli. Havuz çok güzel. Bahçe ve peyzaj tasarımı çok güzel. Otelin arka kapısından kısa bir yürüyüş mesafesinde inlice plajına ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Begenmediğim bir yönü yoktu.

Harika bir deneyim. Balayı için gittiğimiz layladan inanılmaz memnun ayrıldık. İlk başta köpek dostu bir otel olduğunu bilmeden gittik ve rahatsız olduk biraz. Fakat günler geçtikçe onlarla arkadaş olduk. Herşey çok güzel ilerledi. Çalışanlar inanılmaz cana yakın ve özellikle otelin sahipleri, daima yanımıza gelip her şeyin yolunda olup olmadığını sordular çok teşekkür ederiz. Otel konum olarak şehirden biraz izole ama göcek merkeze 10 fethiyeye 25 dk mesafede. Denize yürüyerek 10dk ormanın içinden yürüyorsunuz. Supboard yapabiliyorsunuz . Sadece odanın temizliğini çok iyi bulmadım. Fazla örümcek ağı ve örümcek vardı. Yerde de karıncalar dolaşıyordu. Doğanın içinde olduğu için çok normal fakat odanın içinde olmasaydı daha rahat edebilirdik. Onun haricinde her şey harika, çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Hayvan dostu bir konaklama yeri olması da ayrıca tercih sebebimizdi.

Oda daha temiz olabilirdi eksikliklerin sebebi belki bahçe odasında kaldığımız içindi. Barda çalışab arkadaş istediğim kokteyli hazırladı. Kahvaltı açık büfeydi ve çeşit fazlaydı. Resepsiyon hizmetleri daha iyi olabilirdi gerekli bilgileri iletme konusunda wifi şifesi gibi.. Otelin bahçesi, havuzu, bitkiler, palmiyeler, merkeze olan konumu, denize olan konumu muhteşem. Kesinlikle bir kez daha ziyaret edeceğiz.
