"I had a fantastic day celebrating my 25th birthday here. The place is spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly attentive. The room layout was spa like and gorgeous for pictures. However, if you’re looking for nightlife, you’ll be disappointed. The main-floor bar closes at around 11 PM, and the sports bar is usually empty. On the bright side, the pools are well-maintained during the day, and the food and drinks are quite good."

"The hotel is about 70% closed. Many of the amenities are unusable. The hotel it self is amazing! Not sure how much longer they will be in business, probably 60% of the place in Tulum have closed their doors. Really sad to see. But if you have a chance to stay here, take the risk! We stayed in room 37 and it was amazing short of the no WiFi or cell service. Room was big roomy, and even though I read reviews of no ac or hot water, that was not the case in our stay. 37 shares a pool of that level and views were amazing!!"

"No think about it just book it. The staff and owner were great. They are expanding to make it even better. Underwater gym, sound healing classes and full spa coming in November. I will be retuning. This was my first time in Mexico and I made a great choice in starting at Kan Tulum. The grounds were even prettier in person. We rented e-bikes and got hurt and the staff once they heard were so concerned and attentive asking daily about our progress. This place was worth every penny."

"Sana was absolutely fantastic. Great location, staff are incredible. We had a room with a private lounge pool and it was absolutely spotless. Great air con, TV with Netflix (our other 2 Tulum beach hotels didn’t have this), great food and the architecture of the hotel is beautiful. Very peaceful and calming. We were also fortunate to see sea turtles nesting. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff make it particularly special."
