"Our stay at the hotel was very disappointing. The room had a very strong cigarette smell, which made it feel dirty and unpleasant. The mattress and pillows were also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep."

However, for a 40 room hotel, they really need to have someone at the reception 24/7 because after 11 pm there is nobody there to open doors or support guests in case of emergencies. There is an emergency number but that is not always useful for travellers who don’t have local calling."

"The kitchen had basics but missing a few utensils such as a bottle opener or corkscrew, spatula or serving spoon. We improvised. Also some light bulbs were out. Great location in the heart of old town, but be aware that there is a lively Mexican restaurant below (good food but noisy) and the street doors were often wedged open. Wouldn’t want to stay there with very young children or as a lone female. "
