Opened this year at a cost of over £15 million - Wicker Man is one amazing ride. A fast wooden coaster that really packs a punch themed around old rituals in English history. The whole park is a coaster lovers dream and really needs a full day to appreciate everything it has to offer.

"This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District."

"Amazing room, great size, breakfast choice and food quality was good. Spa facilities justified the price. The spa was amazing with loads of small pools and 3 different sauna level and a steam room. It was out anniversary and they left 2 macaroons with a plate saying happy anniversary and a card which was a nice touch! "
