"A very special stay 😊 From the elevator arrival, a spectacular view from the bridge to reception and on into the beautiful gardens and mesmerising view from our balcony, this is a unique and special place to stay. A few of the areas are showing signs of their age but everything is very clean and well tended. Eating in the garden restaurant be will hard to beat. "The hotel is ideally situated with some great views from the rooftop bar. It has a contemporary feel and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in comfortable walking distance. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I'd like to make a special mention to both Andre and Bruno, who were great conversation from behind the bar. If I come back to Madeira, this will be my first choice. "
