"When checking in leave your luggage in the car because the rooms are outside far from the parking lot. But overall, it was very nice and clean. The pool was a little far but enjoyed it once I got there."

"We did not like the walk to the Jack London area. Dangerous area with nasty stinky areas. Not impressed at all for downtown Oakland. Really ruined the area."

"My family and I spent 2 nights at this beautiful hotel at the end of September 2026. I spent a lot of time researching reviews of other hotels and finally found this one. All of the reviews were wonderful and after staying here, I totally agree. We will definitely be back. The room was super clean and updated. The hotel staff was great, and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you La Quinta!"
