"Very nice traditional Portuguese hotel in the middle of new hi-rise hotels. Two nice pools and a very good breakfast. The location is an easy walk to many things. There a many restaurants and bars as well as parks and the cruise ship terminal nearby. "

"Hotel location and parking were extremely hard to find and navigate. The hotel in itself was nice and had kind staff. Our room was upgraded but it had a very strange layout. Tub was in the middle of the room which is awkward if traveling with friends and family, the shower and sink leaked into the main room, and there was insufficient lighting. Other than that it was a pleasant stay! "

"Well located along main avenue, about a kilometer from the Cathedral and main downtown area. Good breakfast, staff helpful. 2 negatives-entrance down a long flight of steps from the street and the supposedly heated indoor pool was not heated."

"We love Porto Mare and have stayed a few times before. The facilities are great and the staff are very welcoming! The breakfast buffet is the BEST! This time we bought the three dinners at Atlantida restaurant, all of which we fab but the fish and seafood night was the highlight! Our room was clean and had a lovely view over the gardens We’ll be back in 2026 :)"
