"My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. "Love the location and views of Tower Bridge but hotel rooms are looking tired now and shower didn’t work"

"We stayed for 6 nights and was very impressed withe the way the hotel looked on the outside and in the lobby area. Our check-in experience was great! After that I was disappointed with the view from our room...you could see people from other room so no privacy if you want to keep the curtains open...very weird layout of the hotel. Cleanliness - 5 out of 10. Fridge, drawers and windows were not clean at all. The wall in the bathroom was dirty from a spilling beverage...and so on. Not impressed. Another thing was that when we would come back to the room all the lights were on and the air conditioner set up to a different temperature then what we left it. It felt like someone was in our room. We brought it up to the manager. He told us that he checked and no one came into our room. Still it felt like they were very dismissive. I would suggest some improvements...like the fridges that they used to be minibars (but not anymore) be change with regular fridges without all the sensors and wires. "

"Helpful staff, great location, very close to both Queen Square and Baker Street station. Comfortable, spotless room. Although no aircon in the rooms, there was a good large fan in the wardrobe which worked fine. Breakfast was delicious, although expensive (£17.50 on the door). It's as much as you can eat (definitely worth it, especially if you can get a deal when you book the room). I will definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone."
