From the moment we arrived at Hotel Engel in Emmetten, the staff went above and beyond—helping with laundry, offering brilliant touring tips, and solving our transportation challenges. Every meal was a culinary delight, and the hospitality was unmatched. Warm, professional, and genuinely caring, the team made our stay unforgettable, especially the Owner! "As with most hotels in Europe, air-conditioning is not something that exists or if it does generally does not work very well, so you should just understand this if it is going to be very hot during your stay.
We ate at the hotel for dinner and it was excellent. We recommend the food there."
