"New property. Plenty of parking. Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. No lobby restrooms or ice machines on the property. For a new property, I wish the walls would have been more insulated for sound. Could hear noise from other rooms easily. "

"Breakfast was robust (eggs/sausage/ham/waffles/cereal) but the same every day of our stay. Would have been nice to mix it up a bit. Rooms were fine, but 3 things were a problem for us. Some of this I should have checked on: 1) we had our handicapped son with it. The hotel only had double beds for sleeping 3, which are too small for a couple 2) no tub; only a shower. That's a problem when bathing my handicapped son 3) stupid sliding door on the bathroom. My son caught his fingers in the sliding door and it's much too noisy Probably won't stay here next time due to these 3 things. Again, these may not be issues for other travelers."

"The host clearly put a lot of thought into making the property feel cozy and inviting. We loved the records and the kids loved the basement and hot tub. The indoor Easter egg hunt the host put together for the kids to find upon arrival was super sweet."

Finding a place that keeps five teens happy isn’t easy, but the arcade room was a massive hit—it had a great selection of games and a stunning view to boot.Joseph and Vanessa were so kind and responsive, and the Wolf Laurel staff gave us a warm welcome with helpful tips for navigating the mountain fog. We really appreciated the early check-in, which let the kids settle in and start enjoying the perks of the property immediately.The attention to detail made traveling with a large group so much easier. Since GPS is spotty, the detailed navigation pin and the video guide for the steep mountain driveway were lifesavers. Inside, the house was perfectly set up—the stocked pantry made it easy to keep everyone fed, and the video manuals for the tech and amenities meant we didn't have to guess how anything worked. From the inviting decor to the quality bath products, every room felt thoughtful. It was a restful, high-quality experience for all of us, and we’ll definitely be booking this spot again. "This is the classic "roach motel". AC made a horrific noise all night, toilet would not flush (staff made us go get plunger), sink leaked, you felt like it was not clean even though it appeared clean. Not sure I can recommend staying here when a few bucks more will get you a better experience. "
