"Friendly, helpful staff, good location and a mostly comfy bed. Other than that, the fridge was out, the air conditioner didn't work, 4/5 of the bathroom bulbs were burned out, and the cable was intermittent. If you're just looking for a place to stay, it was fine, but make sure the air works. The hot nights made it a bit miserable."

"Only complaints are the bed was vey hard and had to have my keys reprogrammed every day. Other than that the hotel staff, breakfast, was fine room was clean and quiet, didn’t use the pool or exercise room. I would stay here again"

"Comfortable been, staff was polite, room was old and dated but clean. Only complaint was we had to call the Sheriff rather than staff handling it. Several people clearly staying at the Inn were drinking and smoking dope in the parking lot. Very poor language and lots of swearing. Could have at least moved away from the building se others could sleep. Finally, at 10:40 pm called the Sheriff and shortly thereafter all was finally quiet."

"Exceptional hospitality—perfect for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts!We stayed in the 5-bedroom lodge, and everything about the experience went smoothly. It's incredibly private and quiet and just a short distance from the town of Lisbon and the Sheyenne National Grasslands. This setup would be absolutely ideal for hunting groups or outdoor enthusiasts looking for a home base to explore the area.Jake truly went above and beyond and seemed to anticipate every need. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want, and having laundry on-site was a huge convenience. We even had a surprise snowstorm during our stay, he proactively came over to start the pellet stove for us without even being asked!While the property offers two rentals (the lodge and a smaller cabin), the 5-bedroom house provided plenty of space. The decor is a bit dated—think charming 70s-style vibes—but it was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay and highly recommend this property for anyone heading to this part of North Dakota."

"10/10 would stay again! Super clean home and very well-stocked. The beds are super comfy; home is in a great location, and just zero stress from booking to check-out. Everything was thoughtfully prepared for guests — the host nailed it. If you’re thinking about booking—just do it!"

"The host, Joe, was very kind and accommodating. He has excellent information on the history of the area that he was happy to share with us and the kids. This place was better than we had expected. We stayed at Christmas to visit the grand kids. Joe went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The place was very clean and even decorated for the holidays. Joe made sure we understood how everything works and explained that he was available should we need him while giving us the freedom to be ourselves in this quiet private place. "
